Since 2012, Africa Day Australia Inc. (ADA) has proudly led the celebrations in Melbourne, growing from humble beginnings into a vibrant movement that brings African Australians and friends of Africa together in a spirit of unity and pride. Each May, ADA hosts a dynamic series of events that showcase African culture, achievement, and connection.
ADA is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led organisation powered by passionate individuals from diverse African nations, as well as the broader Australian and international community, all united in celebrating Africa’s legacy and future.
Our Mission
Contribute to Australia’s cultural harmony and diverse multicultural history by celebrating the diverse African-Australian cultures.
